How much does a website cost in Spain in 2026? Real prices and what you pay every year

By Daniel L. · · 9 min read

Search for what a website costs in Spain and you'll find ranges from €200 to over €30,000. They're all true, and none of them help you. It's like asking how much a car costs.

So we'll do it the other way round. We'll give you our prices, which are published, explain what you pay once and what you pay every year, and leave you a checklist to compare quotes from any agency, ours included.

The short answer

These are our packages. Prices are excluding VAT (IVA in Spain):

What you need Price With 21% VAT
One-page website €399 €482.79
Business website, up to 5 pages €690 €834.90
Shopify online store, up to 100 products €990 €1,197.90
Apps, AI or integrations Fixed quote

What each one includes is on our pricing page (in Spanish). If you're a company or self-employed in Spain, you can normally reclaim the VAT, which is why we publish without it. If you're buying as a private individual, go by the right-hand column.

Why the ranges are so far apart

Because every quote means something different by "a website". A Spanish business magazine, Emprendedores, reported in July 2026 that the same company can get quotes from €400 to €15,000 for similar projects. The gap is almost always about scope, not about who's being honest.

Four things really move the price:

  1. How many pages and how much content. One page with your services and a contact form isn't the same as twenty pages with copy, photos and a blog.
  2. Whether you sell online. A store needs payments, shipping, taxes, product pages and legal pages. Each of those is work.
  3. Custom design or a template. A well-chosen template is cheaper and usually enough. Custom design makes sense when your brand calls for it.
  4. Integrations. Connecting the site to your invoicing software, your CRM, WhatsApp or online booking is where prices take off, because every system is different.

What shouldn't move the price is needing three calls to find it out. If an agency won't give you a price without a meeting, it's often because the price depends on what they think you can pay.

What you pay once, and what you pay every year

This is where most of the surprises are. The website quote is a one-off payment, but a website has costs that come back every year.

Item When you pay Who you pay
Design and build Once The agency or freelancer
Domain (yourbusiness.es) Every year The domain registrar
Hosting or platform Monthly or yearly The provider (or your Shopify plan)
Maintenance Monthly, if you take it Whoever maintains the site

For a market reference, Trustlocal, a Spanish quote-comparison site, puts a domain at €10 to €30 a year and hosting at €50 to €150 a year. Those ranges are collected from quotes, not official prices.

With our packages, the only things you pay separately are the domain and, for stores, the monthly Shopify plan. You pay both directly to the provider, in your own name. Shopify's price depends on the plan and how you pay, so check their current pricing before you decide.

Do you need maintenance?

For a one-page site you never touch, not always. For an online store, yes.

Platforms, themes and plugins update all the time, and a store that stops taking payments on a Saturday costs more than a year of maintenance. Our plans are €29, €69 and €119 a month excluding VAT, depending on how often your site changes and whether you sell online. Pay for the year up front and it's ten months. The details are on our maintenance page (in Spanish).

Our advice: if you'll only touch your website twice a year, don't pay for a plan. Pay for the changes when you need them.

Cheap, expensive, and what can really cost you

A cheap website isn't the problem. A website you don't control is.

Whether you pay €300 or €3,000, check these:

  • The domain is in your name. If the agency registers it in theirs and you stop working together one day, getting your address back can be a mess.
  • You have the passwords. For the site, the hosting, the domain, Google Analytics and Search Console. If only the agency has them, the website is theirs in practice.
  • You can take it with you. Ask what happens if you change provider. With Shopify or WordPress, it's yours to move; with some agencies' in-house builders, it isn't.
  • You know what you pay every year. Some cheap quotes are cheap because the cost is hidden in a monthly fee you're tied to for years.

How to compare two quotes

Before you choose, ask each quote to answer these in writing:

  1. Does the price include VAT or not?
  2. How many pages, how many products and how many rounds of changes are included?
  3. Who writes the copy and who provides the photos?
  4. What do I pay every year, to whom, and how much?
  5. Will the domain and accounts be in my name?
  6. Does it include basic technical SEO and setting up Google Search Console?
  7. How much do changes cost once the site is live?
  8. When will it be ready, and what do you need from me to hit that date?

If two quotes answer the same way, you can compare them on price. If not, you're comparing different things.

Are there grants for building a website?

Not right now. As of 17 October 2026, there's no open Kit Digital call, the Spanish government programme that used to fund websites for small businesses. Plenty of sites say it's coming back, but no new call has been published. We cover it in our Kit Digital guide.

Our advice: if you need the website now, don't hold it back waiting for a grant with no date.

When we wouldn't recommend paying for a website

If you're just starting out and still working out what you'll sell, a well-built Google Business Profile and a tidy Instagram account can be enough for a few months. Once your service and your customer are clear, the website comes out better and faster.

And if what you want is to show up on Google in your town, a website helps, but your Google listing carries a lot of weight. We set it up for €99; more on our local SEO page (in Spanish).

We think a small business shouldn't have to call anyone to find out what its website will cost. That's why our prices are public. If you'd like us to look at your case, get in touch or ask for a free review of your current site.

Dynasty DX prices are those published on 17 October 2026, excluding VAT. Market ranges come from the sources cited and are only a guide: always check the actual quote.
